New from Boffintronics, it's the RC Receiver Recorder! This custom designed board works with Steve Koci's DIY RC Controller Addikit and turns it into a true puppeteering prop controller system.
Using this board in conjunction with the DIY Controller, a routine can be stored on the receiver’s on board SD card. The transmitter can then be turned off, allowing the receiver to now operate independently. You can then utilize a variety of sensors to trigger playback.
It is based on the ATmega32U4 and is compatible with the Arduino IDE as a Leonardo. The board comes with the current programming version already installed. No need to know how to program as all adjustments to the controllers parameters are done on an easy to access configuration file that is stored on the SD card. You are able to quickly change servo direction, center and end points as well as add re-trigger delays. If you want to write your own code, the board includes an on-board USB Micro connector and USB to serial (UART) converter, making it easy to program the board by simply connecting it to your computer with a USB Micro cable.
Included is a nRF24L01+ 2.4GHz Wireless Transceiver. Additional range is possible with our nRF24L01+PA+LNA with Antenna 2.4GHz Wireless Transceiver
For controlling servos, there are 8 headers (ground, power, and signal) with jumper selectable power. The current programming allows you to use 6 of these servos with new program updates in the works to utilize all 8. In addition to servos, there are 8 digital out headers (ground, 5V, and signal) which can be set either high or low, 1 high trigger input, and 1 low trigger input. Additional signals provided via P11 and P12.
