This and it's counterpart are PERFECT for projects.  With this, gone is the frustration of soldering and clumsy strain reliefs associated with the typical jack / barrel connectors.
No more splicing cords to make power adapters.!!
I will be sure to keep plenty in stock for projects / demos.
