High intensity cool white LED module. 3W LED is mounted to star style aluminum heat sink with heat sink compound between the LED and the heat sink. These are the same LEDs found in many high intensity LED flashlights and lanterns.

Solder your connection wires to the silver rectangles marked with "+" signs for positive and "-" signs for negative.

NOTE: The star heat sink on this LED cannot fully dissipate a full 3W of heat. Therefore to drive this LED at it's highest power for extended periods of time you will need to add additional heat sinking. We recommend our 3W LED Heatsink.

I am using this LED to make an illuminated flag standard. I bought four of them, along with the LM2596 step down DC-DC buck converter, also available through Addicore, and have loved working with them. They are very good quality LEDs and they are exceptionally bright.

10/10 I will buy again.

I have tested these for a FlashLight that I am planning using 3 of them, looks like these will work just great!  I am still seeking a combo between these Cool Whites and the Natural White ones.  Probably mix them up a bit.

Using these as headlights in an automated RC car project and they work great at night. Just be sure to keep them cool and voltage in check.

Performs great. They need more current than smaller LEDs so I am running mine off a separate power source and controlling it with a MOSFET.
