*This cable can handle 1 A of current but, like most cables, this will cause a noticeable voltage drop in the cable. Therefore the voltage at the output of the cable will be lower then the voltage at the input end of the cable. In the case of this cable, we have measured the voltage drop to be around 0.4~0.5 V at 1 A.
